What We Do
The Austin Rhetoric Club uses Speech and Debate as a means to create Godly Communicators who ultimately will become the leaders of the next generation. Because God is and should be the center of everything we do, (1 Pet 4:11) Apologetics is a required event for all ARC competitors.
We want to develop well-rounded speakers, so we encourage students to participate in as many speech events as possible, though it is not required. Here is a list of all the different events that ARCers participate in.
ARC is trying to create a diverse, well rounded speech experience for all its participants.
